On Saturday 23rd August, the Diagnostic Healthcare team proudly joined the Manchester Pride Parade for the very first time.

The parade is one of the UK’s most vibrant celebrations of LGBTQ+ equality, diversity, and inclusion, and it was a privilege for our team to walk alongside so many incredible organisations, community groups, and individuals. The streets of Manchester were alive with colour, music, and energy, and the support from the crowds was unforgettable.

For us, being part of Pride was about more than just taking part in a celebration. At Diagnostic Healthcare, we believe that inclusivity should be at the heart of everything we do. Pride is a powerful reminder of the importance of equality and visibility. Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and cared for, both in their daily lives and when accessing health services.

We are proud to have represented our colleagues, patients, and the wider healthcare community at Manchester Pride 2025, and we are committed to continuing our support for LGBTQ+ communities all year round.

This was our first time walking in the Pride Parade, but it will not be our last and we look forward to making it a tradition in the years to come. 🌈
